Compliments of the New Year, firstly I would like to thank our supporters for the support they gave the team during 2013 and look forward to their continued support in 2014.

We as a club are looking forward to a successful 2014 and our continued path towards the Unusual Greatness.

The first half of our second campaign in the PSL presented itself with some difficulties and challenges. It was never going to be easy to overcome the loss of key players, injuries to other key players and developing a new team into a force immediately.

The players and the club have however shown great determination, character and commitment to once again be a competitive outfit in the league. We believe and are confident that we will prove to be a better team in the second half of the season.

The new players have had time to adjust to the demands and requirements expected of them to take the team forward. All the players returned from the mid-season break refreshed and full of desire to improve on our performance and log position.

The next 3 months will be testing, with many games to be played in a short space of time. We are however relishing the prospect of playing regularly as opposed to the first half of the season.

Our objective is undoubtedly to finish in the top 8 again and to have a good Nedbank Cup run. We trust and have faith in our squad of players, hence the addition of only one (1) player Raymond Monama. Thabo Monyamane has also joined the squad after we signed him from North West University following some impressive performances during the inaugural Varsity Football competition. We welcome them with open arms and believe that both players will bring quality and depth to the squad.

Besides the objective as set out previously, we also want to continue to grow as a club both on and off the field. We want to improve the quality of our players both individually and collectively on and off the field.

We will continue to grow a foundation for the team to build on to, to become a recognised and successful team in the PSL for many years to come.

Our immediate focus though is to get as many points as quickly as possible which will enable us to consolidate our position on the log. Once we have achieved this we will then aim to push for a top 8 position.

We look forward to an exciting year ahead and wish Buhle Makwanazi and Bafana Bafana a successful CHAN campaign.
