The University of Pretoria Football Club take on Mpumalanga Black Aces at the Tuks stadium on the 28th February, kick-off is at 15:30.

Just two days after the Nedbank Cup victory against Moroka Swallows AmaTuks will look to carry that momentum into the ABSA Premiership when they clash against AmaZayoni. Both coaches will be upbeat after the 1st round draw in Nelspruit.

AmaTuks are unbeaten in six league matches and have collected a maximum of 9 points out of a possible 15 in the PSL. In that great run of form the likes of Geoffrey Massa have been standout performers, he currently has the most goals (7) just 1 shy of the top goal scorer and the most assists (4).

AmaZayoni on the other hand have collected 5 points out of a possible 15 and will be looking to collect more against AmaTuks as they have never beaten AmaTuks in Pretoria. Tendai Ndoro is their main marksman with 5 goals in the bag, Onyekachi Okonkwo brings creativity as he has 5 assists for AmaZayoni.

Both teams are coming from victories in the Nedbank Cup and that usually results in high confidence in the two teams which usually translates to goals. A lot is at stake considering the points difference between the two teams, a win for AmaZayoni takes them above AmaTuks whilst a win for the University Of Pretoria will open a considerable gap.

Aubrey Ngoma returns to his childhood club once more but this time with a different team and this creates a better occasion for the two teams to have a go at each other.  AmaTuks are still without Siyabonga Ngubane who is still serving his two match suspension.
