AmaTuks welcome neighbours Supersport United at the Tuks stadium on the 18th of October in the first edition of the 2014/2015 Tshwane derby, kick-off is at 15:30.

AmaTuks will be looking to get their first win against Supersport United since gaining promotion to the Premier Soccer League. Having lost to Mamelodi Sundowns in their previous match the international break was surely welcome for Steve Barker and his charges as they have not won in their last four matches.

Supersport United have dominated the Tshwane derby for a long time as they have never lost to AmaTuks, they seem to have found their feet in the PSL after appointing new coach Gordon Igesund has won all three games his been in charge of. The visitors head into the match coming off a 1-0 victory against Free State Stars in the Telkom Knockout.

AmaTuks head into this encounter positioned 13th on the log with just 6 points from 7 matches whilst Matsatsantsa A Pitori are 9th having accumulated 9 points from 7 games.

Coach Steve Barker acknowledges the odds stacked against his team when they face Supersport United " We have not really done well against our neighbours but last season we pushed them to extra time in the Telkom Knockout and I believe we are getting closer and closer to beating them.

The two teams have faced each other 4 times in the league with Supersport bagging three wins with the other encounter ending in a draw. AmaTuks will look to get their first win at home this season but they face a tough challenge as Supersport united are on form.
