AmaTuks are searching for their first win against Bidvest Wits when they host "The Clever Boys" in the much anticipated PSL Varsity Derby on Sunday 13 September 2015 at the Tuks Stadium.

AmaTuks have massed three points from three matches so far, losing against Golden Arrows and Chippa United. They cruised to a 3-0 win over Polokwane City at home and that is the trend they aim to keep throughout the season, turning the Tuks Stadium into a fortress and beating the home record of the first three seasons.

The two teams are stingy when they come up against one another with their six match-ups producing only six goals. AmaTuks have held Wits to three goalless draws, one one-all draw and twice lost by one goal margins.

Since the beginning of their 2015/2016 campaign Wits have scored two goals in each of their first three fixtures; beating Ajax Cape Town 2-1 at home, losing 4-2 to Sundowns away from home and beating Maritzburg United 2-0 at home.

AmaTuks will be bolstered by the return of captain Tebogo Monyai from suspension. They will however be without center back Vukile Mngqibisa who picked up a red card against Chippa United, but the Tuks defence will be stabilised by the return of Siyabonga Ngubane, on loan from Mpumalanga Black Aces. After mesmerising the crowd in the match against Polokwane City supporters are looking forward to seeing if the trickery of winger Getaneh Kebede, who is on loan from Wits, will help Tuks pull one over their varsity rivals from across the Jukskei.

The defence from both sides have had torrid starts to the season but both teams seem to pack a punch upfront and that makes for an exciting match up on Sunday which kicks off at 15h00.
